Protection at each step of a trade
Escrow protects the crypto. Verification and AML checks protect the people. Moderators settle the rest.
Escrow
The seller's crypto is locked as soon as an order opens, and can't be withdrawn or spent while it's active.
Verification
Traders verify their identity, and payment accounts must match the verified name.
Dispute resolution
If a trade stalls, a moderator reviews the chat and payment evidence, then decides where the escrow goes.

Know where the coins have been
Coins carry their history. Receiving funds tied to fraud can get your account frozen elsewhere. Screening flags that before it reaches you.
Six scams to watch for
Nearly all of them only work if you step outside the rules. Stay inside the order and you've avoided most of the danger.
Fake payment screenshots
Anyone can edit a screenshot. Check your actual bank balance before you release.
"Let's finish on Telegram"
Leaving the order means losing moderator cover. Decline, and report the trader.
Third-party payments
Money from a name that isn't the buyer's can be stolen funds. Refuse it and open a dispute.
Chargeback fraud
Reversible methods can be clawed back after you release. Be careful with cards and PayPal-style services.
Fake support staff
Real staff only speak inside the order and on official channels, and never ask for your password or codes.
Too-good prices
A price far from market is usually bait. Compare it with the live market first.
Know what to look for?
Put it into practice with a small first trade.
